Well lets start by saying I got a pretty good deal on this club or else I would have never tried it out, My old driver was a call away warbird which I liked alot but never really hit it consistently mostly slicing it on off center shots, but the first time I used the steel head I actually started drawing the ball slightly which for myself was diffinately a change.

Driving the ball was never the strongest part of my game, that would be my iron play, but with this driver I really look forward to stepping up to the tee, I'm hitting atleast 10 out of 14 fairways now as compared to maybe 7 of 14 with my warbird before. The benefits of this club I feel are more rewarded with a harder, faster swing, it may sound funny but the fact is its true at least from what I've learn, I've been playing with it for 10 months now. If you like the war bird then this club is a really good upgrade and at a low price its hard to beat I see these things going on ebay at between $75-$125 all the time.
Distance I've found is good about 5-10 yards further then my old club, probably due to the VFT technolgy, great tradition callaway sound at impact and one of the nicest paint jobs on a driver. The steel head is not for everyone though its a players club and you may need to work out your swing before really appreciating this driver. Best driver I feel under 250cc and well under $200 brand new.
